Andrew (53) had a stroke, which resulted in left-sided weakness, slowed visual processing and mild perceptual difficulties. He also had mild difficulties with language and day-to-day function. Andrew was very keen to return to work which, after he was discharged from Icanho, he has done successfully. He told us:
‘I had physiotherapy, occupational, speech and language therapy, psychology and large portions of “TLC” over a 12-month period.

‘Without doubt I can say that coming to Icanho will allow me to live my life again.’
